General Questions:

Q: Where is the FEELartistic studio located?
A: We are located at 10333 19th Ave SE Everett, WA. Around 20 miles north of Seattle Downtown.

Q: How to buy tickets or reserve the sessions?
A: So simple. You can buy tickets and reserve the session from our website.

Q: My voucher or gift certification is expiring, but I don't see an available spot before the expiration date. What should I do?
A: You should be fine as long as your voucher is not expired at the time of reserving the session. Feel free to select any available date even after the expiration date.

Q: Can I bring kids to the pottery lessons?
A: Yes, kids are welcome as long as they are 8+ and 50 inches tall to operate the pottery wheel. Kids must be accompanied by an adult/guardian who can take the class or stay in the session. We encourage guardians to take a class with their kids. Participating in art activities with kids will encourage and inspire them.

Q: What are the pick-up hours?
A: Monday - Friday| 03:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday | 10.00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Pottery Questions:

Q: Do we have to fire our ceramic creations? Does the studio provide glazing and or firing services?
A: Yes, we do provide Bisque (Firing) and Glazing (Painting) but these are optional services and not included in your purchase. We also provide a kiln shelf. You can take a raw creation home without firing or glazing or ask the instructor in the class for these services. The studio charges $10 for the firing and $30 for the Glazing & Firing schedule.

Q: How much time do I need for the glazing?
A: It depends. Most people take 15 to 30 minutes to complete the glazing process.

Q: Can you ship our creations?
A: Yes, the studio can ship your creations like plates and bowls anywhere in the USA at an extra charge to cover packaging and shipping costs. You can ask the instructor for more information about shipping.

Q: Can I bring kids to the pottery session?
A: Yes, kids are welcome as long as they are 8+ and 50 inches tall to operate the pottery wheel and work with clay.

Q: What are some common pottery-making techniques?

A: Some pottery-making techniques that you’ll learn are - coil building, pinching, slab building, slip casting, and decoration.

Q: What to wear for a pottery session?
A:

1) Casual clothing is the best for studio activity. Clay comes out of fabric without much effort, but we always suggest wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
2) Avoid wearing shoes and sandals with large hills.
3) Clip your fingernails for the best experience.

Glass Fusing Questions:


Q: What shape of the glass creation will we get after firing?
A: It will be a tile shaped flat glass shape.

Q: Does the studio offers any other shapes other than flat during fused glass classes?
A: Yes, we do offer and these are optional services at additional cost. You don't have to payunless you want a different shape for your creation.

Q: How much do I have to pay to convert my creation from a flat into a different shape?
A: It will cost $8. You decide on the class and pay it at the front desk after the session. Remember converting into a different shape is optional and you don't have to.

Q: Can you ship our creations?
A: Yes, the studio can ship your creations made of a piece of glass anywhere in the USA at an extra charge to cover packaging and shipping costs. You can ask the instructor for more information about shipping.

Q: What are common glass fusing techniques?

A: The common glass fusing techniques that you’ll learn with us are full fuse, tack fuse, slumping, kiln carving, and combing.



Studio Time Questions:

Q: What is studio time?
A: It is your time to practice your pottery or hand-building skills in our studio space.


.Q: How much do you charge for two hours?
A: $15 or $20 entry fee for two hours of usage.

Q: What will we get during during the studio session?
A: You will get access to pottery wheels, tools, and space which makes it a better option than studio rentals. 


Q: What are the requirements for using studio session time?
1- We highly recommend taking our 90-minute pottery class before using time for the studio, or you must have basic pottery or sculpting skill level.
2- You must be 18+ old or accompany an adult.
3- You must be able to clean your wheels and usage area after use.
4- Follow studio rules.

Q: Will the instructor be available during studio session?
A: No. It is your time to practice your skills at your pace.

Q: Do we have to buy clay?
A: Yes, You have to buy clay from us.

Q: Does each participant have to buy a separate bag of clay?
A: Nope. You can buy one bag of clay and share it with anyone you like.

Q: What type of clay do you use in the studio for pottery or ceramic works?
A: We only use midgrade clay of a cone 04-6.

Q: How much clay costs?
A: 25 Lbs of clay bag for $40 and 12 Lbs of clay bag for $25


Q: What should we do with leftover clay?
A: You can take leftover clay home and bring it back on your next session.

Note: Studio time is not for production potters.
